Once COVID struck down on the world everything was shut down including a fan favorite indulgence for music lovers especially, live concerts. One of the most depressing things about this for Coloradan’s is the venue red rocks amphitheater no longer offering their legendary live concerts. Everything from the natural acoustics to the incredible scenery has been dearly missed.

Most natives guessed red rocks wouldn’t open its gates to musicians until early 2022 due to the huge numbers of people packed together clearly not abiding to the COVID restrictions Colorado as a state has been using the past year. However, Red Rocks recently announced its rescheduled dates for concerts such as, Glass Animals, The Avet Brothers, Barenaked Ladies and more! The most surprising and thrilling part of these announcements is that there is no sign of COVID restrictions on these dates. Full house tickets are being sold and are going quick or are simply being reimbursed if the concert was rescheduled.

Coloradans find this news hopeful for multiple reasons. Some regarding the return of live music along in bars or restaurants as well as venues such as red rocks. Another more broad positive to red rocks releasing dates alludes to a light at the end of the coronavirus tunnel. The lack of restrictions on the shows tells citizens that entertainers expect COVID to have died down so much by mid summer to be having a full sale red rocks show without social distancing or masks.

In conclusion these red rocks dates are exciting for many reasons and I for one am very grateful for the opportunity to get back to some normalcy.
