Frank Ocean is a musical artist and in 2016 he released an album called “Blonde”. And this is one of the best albums I’ve ever heard. Frank Ocean is a member of the rap group called Odd Future or OFWGKTA. There were also apart of the T.V. show on Adult Swim called Loiter Squad. All the other people that were in the Odd Future group are Tyler, the Creator, Hodgy Beats, Casey Veggies, Matt Martians, Pyramid Vritra, Jasper Dolphin, Earl Sweatshirt, Domo Genesis, Mike G, Syd tha Kid, and Frank Ocean. The group fell apart in 2015 since then Frank made his own music. “Blonde” was the first album he made sense.

The first song in the album is called “Nikes”, I liked this song a lot, it is a very calm  and mellow to listen to. I also liked this song because and this album because its a very nice thing to play in the morning or like if you’re working on something. The song is  5 minute long and in my opinion that’s a little too long for a song but beside that this song is amazing. As an opener of the album “Nikes” is perfect song to use.

The next song in Blonde is called “Ivy” and on “Ivy,” Frank reflects on his mistakes and explores a failed relationship. This song I feel like a lot of people might be able to relate to because I know a lot of people that have been in failed relationships and this so i think is almost relateable to listen to.

Next there is “Pink + White” Produced by Pharrell Williams and featuring uncredited backing vocals from Beyonce. This was very strange to me because normally in Frank’s songs he has no one featuring on his songs.

Next we have “Be Yourself” and just by the title of this song I already like it because I think the most important thing you can do in life is it just be yourself. And I feel like the song is just that. “Be Yourself” is a voice message from Rosie Watson, the mother of one of Frank’s childhood friends, and I feel like this is also really cool about this song.

Next there is “Solo” on “Solo” Frank touches on the fact of being alone, and waiting for the person you’re in love with to text or call you back.

The Next song is called “Skyline To.” I really like this song because the whole song or just random thought he had, this song reminded me of “Solo” a lot but besides that this was a really good one.

Next in the album there’s the song “Self Control” this song is a slow ballad which features Frank describing a relationship that is slowly falling apart.

There are still a lot or songs in the album, this is the longest album I’ve ever listened to and that’s one of the reasons I really like Frank Ocean and why i really like Blonde.
